Aspire Nautilus 3 MTL Tank Review

In the world of vaping, Aspire has been a household name for many years now. They have consistently delivered high-quality devices that cater to both beginners and advanced vapers alike. Their latest offering, the Aspire Nautilus 3 MTL tank, has been making waves in the vaping community. In this review, we will take an in-depth look at this device and see if it lives up to the Aspire brand.

Packaging

Aside from the user manual, you’ll find the tank itself with a pre-installed coil, spare o-rings, and a spare mouthpiece. There are two coils included in the package – the 1.8-ohm coil (10-14 watts) and the 0.7-ohm mesh coil (20-25 watts) which is hidden inside the tank. I recommend trying both coils to determine your preference in terms of vapor production and draw.

Getting started

To get started with the setup process, first prime the coil by adding juice to the exposed cotton. Put a little bit of juice in each of the intakes and three drops down the top of the coil. Spin the coil as you do this to ensure it’s covered thoroughly. Next, push the coil into the tank (it doesn’t screw in) and screw the top of the tank on. This will open the doors inside the tank, allowing you to see the coil. When you want to change the coil, the doors will close, enabling you to do so without wasting your juice.

Filling the tank

To fill the tank, locate the little red arrow and push it across to reveal the fill port. Poke the bottle through and fill the tank, then close the top and wait for 5-10 minutes to allow the coil to soak. Finally, adjust the airflow control ring on the bottom of the tank to your preferred draw.

Performance

The top fill feature is a big plus, and I appreciate that the tank has a good weight and feels solid compared to previous versions that were flimsy and easy to break. The coil is housed nicely without being screwed in, and the springs inside to block off the juice flow is a great feature that should be implemented in other tanks. The resistance on the top and bottom is nice, and the airflow is smooth. The flavor is excellent, and the airflow can be adjusted to provide both a restricted direct lung and a mouth-to-lung vape. There are no major cons, but I personally don’t like the nail on the top and the shorter, stubby drip tip that collects residue. Overall, I would rate this tank a 9 out of 10. It’s simple to use, and the features are well-designed.

Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • Top fill feature is a big pro.
  • The tank has a good weightiness to it and feels solid.
  • Coil doesn’t sit in anywhere, which is a nice feature.
  • It has little Springs inside that block off the tooth flow, which is a good implementation across most tanks.
  • It allows changing the coil while there’s still juice in the tank.
  • The flavor is beautiful and the airflow is smooth.

Cons:

  • The nail on the top attracts a lot of dust, which is not great.
  • The little drip tip causes residue to build up on the top of it.
  • The drip tip design may not be suitable for everyone.

Conclusion

Overall, the Aspire Nautilus 3 MTL tank is a solid addition to Aspire’s lineup. It’s a well-designed device that offers both great performance and ease of use, making it one of best mtl tanks. The top fill design and coil replacement system are both excellent features that make this tank a breeze to use. The flavor production is top-notch, and the airflow control allows for customization to suit different preferences. Although there are some minor cons, such as the accumulation of residue and the subjective aesthetics of the top nail, they do not detract from the tank’s overall performance. If you’re a mouth-to-lung vaper looking for a reliable and high-performing tank, the Aspire Nautilus 3 MTL tank is definitely worth considering.
